The Tonnerrois area is located in Northern Burgundy, on the eastern part of the Yonne department , 200 kilometres south from Paris.
Easy access from the A6 motorway from Paris - exit Auxerre Sud- or from Dijon -exit Nitry - halfway between Paris and Lyons.
The Tonnerrois region is also well served by the railway SNCF and the Tonnerre station : Paris- Tonnerre –Dijon ( it takes you 1h44 to do the journey from Paris to Tonnerre), it is also accessible by the TGV line and the station Montbard (Montbard is 35 kms away from Tonnerre)
The Tonnerrois region is next to the Chablisian area and is close to the Auxerrois (30 kms afar) district
